Another Nike Dunk appears to pay homage to Jordan and his Bulls
Image: Yankee Kicks
Once again, fashion and basketball come together in the latest rendition of a favourite
silhouette. The Nike Dunk Low will receive a Chicago Bulls-themed makeover. Referencing
the basketball team best known for their run with Michael Jordan through the 90s. But
twisting it to revitalise one of the most famous sneaker colourways. Here is what you need to know about the Nike Dunk Low Chicago Split.Image: Yankee Kicks
What does it look like?
The sneaker comes in a white leather upper, with red leather overlays across the sneaker. The
laces come in black, and the midsole is dressed in sail. However, the twist comes in the form
of a “split theme”. This theme becomes obvious on the outsole, which is white at the front
and black at the heel. Whereas the swoosh is black at the midfoot, but switches to white
around the heel. The branding also continues the split theme, with the tongue tag featuring
black thread sewn down the middle. And the heel tag features a half-bold white Nike logo,
and a half-italicised black Nike logo embroidered together. This follows on from the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Chicago which released in late 2020, to much acclaim. Rocking the colourway of the Chicago Bulls, most famously worn on the Air Jordan 1. The sneaker was extremely popular. And it now looks like a similar colourway is making its way to the traditional Nike Dunk. Although originally made for basketball, this is only the second time the Dunk low has featured a Chicago colourway. Second only to the last year’s Nike Dunk Low EMB NBA 75th Anniversary Chicago. As well as the Chicago colourway first debuting on the Air Jordan 1, the split theme has also been used before on the Air Jordan 1. Take the Air Jordan 1 Homage to Home for example. Which featured half of the Bred colourway, and half of the Chicago colourway, split right
down the middle.Image: Yankee Kicks
When will the Nike Dunk Low Chicago Split become available?
We are yet to receive an official release date for the Nike Dunk Low Chicago Split. However,
since official images are now available, it likely won’t be long until the sneaker is officially
unveiled. When it does, be sure to check out WOOVIN, to buy and sell sneakers at the best
prices. The Futura Off-White Dunks finally have a release date… sort of
Image: Soltheby’s
In 2019, Off-White revealed a particularly intriguing sneaker in their 2020 spring/summer collection, the Futura Off-White Dunks. On the surface, it shared many details with the Off-White Dunks that would go on to release that winter. But, on closer inspection, it contained the infamous markings of infamous artist Futura. There was no evidence of a public release until 2021, when Virgil Abloh’s website hinted at the shoe’s eventual arrival. Doing so by changing the shoe’s status to read “Actually pending.” Another 2 years later and we finally know how the shoes will see the light of day.
The shoes
The shoes come in two colorways, the first in blue and white, and the other in orange and navy. The pairs feature a tie-dye pattern on the lower layer, with Futura’s “doodle” markings present on top. Both pairs feature a second pair of laces, laced through eyelets popping out of the sides of the upper. Off-White’s classic markings are present on the medial side of the model, whilst Futura’s branding is present on the heel.
Image: Soltheby’s
Who is Futura?
Futura, is a legendary graffiti artist from the ’70s and 80s, who has maintained his notoriety through popular streetwear collaborations. Over the last 20 years, the New York artist has worked with everyone from Stussy to Uniqlo. However, he is best known in the sneaker world for his 2003 Nike SB Dunk. Revered as one of the best dunks to release, the shoe featured minimal branding. Instead, it used a wealth of materials colored in dark hues to create a shoe that mimicked an urban landscape. Whilst his latest dunk is much more vibrant, it’s been similarly popular within the sneaker space.Image: Soltheby’s
How will they release?
Although finally receiving a public release, unfortunately only 8 pairs are available. From April 5th to April 14th, the Futura Off-White Dunks will be available in a public auction, whereby all proceeds will go to the Virgil Abloh foundation. That said, all the original Nike Dunk Low Off-Whites are available to buy and sell now here at WOOVIN.

A day to celebrate your sneakers, Air Max day is around the corner!
Image: Sneaker Freaker
Every year, on the 26th of March, sneaker fans celebrate Air Max Day. A day to celebrate Air Max, and the popularity of its revolutionary visible air unit. It’s celebrated on the 26th of March, the date the first Air Max 1 released. But the day isn’t just for the Air Max 1, with celebrations encompassing all following Air Max releases.
What’s releasing?
The headline sneaker for this year’s Air Max day will be the Nike Air Max 1 ’86 Big Bubble Sport Red. The realised creation of a 1986 prototype by designer Tinker Hatfield. As the name would suggest, the shoe is a take on the Air Max 1. However, with a larger visible Air bubble in the midsole. The revolutionary Air technology was a massive success when it was released. But it debuted with small air bubbles, that gradually became more outlandish as technology improved. The “Big Bubble” 1’s show what an Air Max 1 could’ve looked like if the technology was around in ‘87. Either way, the revamped Air Max 1 will soon see the light of day, and we are very excited. The shoe will debut in traditional red, white, and sail color blocking.
Image: Sole Collector
The second brand-new sneaker to release on Air Max day is the Air Max Pulse. Almost functioning as an updated version of the Air Max 270. The Pulse features the same air bubble as the 270 in the heel, with an updated mesh upper, and leather mudguard. Given the number of Air Max 270s sold since their release in 2018, it makes sense for Nike to match the demand with another similar silhouette. And given the 270 first debuted on Air Max Day, it’s fitting the Air Max Pulse will too. It will come in a “phantom white” colorway that is predominantly white, save for a couple of red accents.
Image: Complex
Air Max Day itself
Both pairs will release on March 26th, likely alongside some Air Max-themed content from Nike to mark the occasion. It’s also worth checking out whether anyone in your local area is putting anything on for Air Max day. As sometimes interactive events are set up to take advantage of the sneaker-themed day and bring the local sneaker community together. But if this has reinvigorated your love of Air Maxes, check out our huge selection available on WOOVIN now.

What’s going on with Drake’s new slides?
Image: House of Heat
It’s been a while since we discussed slip-ons and slides. For many, the novelty of luxury slides may be starting to wear off. But Drake and his NOCTA brand have plans to change this. Expected to release later this month are the NOCTA x Nike Swim Fins. They give slides an unconventional, but potentially practical, twist. In this new magazine article we will tell you all the ins and outs about Drake’s new slides.
What are they?
Made from flexible plastic, the slides come in a matte black finish. They are shaped like a slightly toned-down diving fin, wider at the toe and narrowing towards the heel. The slides have an open-toe box as is typical but come up to just below the ankle, adding some support and potentially making them fit for wearing in water. Nocta and Nike branding are both present on the top of the model, in a glossy black finish. Lastly, the only splash of color is on the turned-out heel tab, which features a light blue plastic tab.
Image: House of Heat
Our thoughts
A mix between conventional slide and scuba diving fins, the slides are part of NOCTA’s Turks & Caicos Spring collection. We wonder whether we’ll see some more colorways of the swim fins over the coming months, especially as we come into the summer. Turks & Caicos are a collection of islands situated between Florida and the Dominican Republic. They are a popular holiday destination for Americans due to their location and the number of scenic beaches. This context, therefore, helps to explain the point of the shoe, as its shape makes it wearable in the sea. But it also works as beachwear. That being said, compared to other slides, maybe it’s less suited for general use. But don’t let us stop you, there are no rules. If you want to get a pair of these swim fins and wear them about, that’s fine with us.
Already available in Turks & Caicos, Drake’s new slides will release elsewhere alongside the full NOCTA collection later this month. It’ll be interesting to see how the release will go, given the nature of the shoe. But Drake’s name attached to it will surely give it a significant boost.

The Air Jordan 4 Pine Green has just been made skate-proof
Image: FullRess
SB, Nike’s world renown skateboarding line, has remained relevant through the years thanks to the release of their SB Dunks. However, as they are expanding their catalogue, Jordan has permitted them to rework another classic Basketball shoe. This comes after an Air Jordan 1 SB was made a couple years ago. But this year, it’s the Air Jordan 4 Pine Green which will receive a skater-themed makeover.
Image: FullRess
What you need to know about the shoe
Firstly, the shoe will come in a white leather upper, with a grey suede mudguard. Green accents are present on the heel tab, crown overlays and midsole. And the rest of the midsole is covered in white and paired with a gum outsole. Lastly, the Jumpman branding on the tongue comes in red on a white background.
However, to make the Air Jordan 4 Pine Green a viable skateboarding shoe, the shoe itself has been reworked. As well as for aesthetic reasons, the gum rubber adds some extra grip to the sneaker. And the upper’s plastic detailing comes in a softer, more flexible material to make the shoes feel less stiff. The shoes feature more padding around the heel and a more flexible heel tab on the back. Lastly, along with some other smaller changes to streamline the silhouette, a comfortable mesh has been used underneath the netting.
Image: FullRess
Why this makes sense
Skateboarding culture and basketball culture are two of the largest influences on sneakers to this day. So, to bring the two together makes for a guaranteed hit. A pair of pine green Air Jordan 4s would sell out anyway. But with its SB detailing, this opens it up to a new audience of skateboarders. And the skateboarding-inspired changes, like the extra cushioning, may also make the sneaker fit the current trend in sneakers. Bulky, padded shoes are very popular right now, especially with the loose-fitting clothes of skateboard culture. And this pair will fit right in.
Image: FullRess
When and where to find them
The Jordan 4 Retro SB Pine Green will have a staggered release starting on the 17th through to the 21st of March. As is common with the most popular SB models, it will have a very limited release. After its release, it will be available to buy and sell here, on WOOVIN.
Everything you need to know about the Nike Dunk Low Reverse Brazil
Image: Sneaker News
Nike has gone through their extensive catalogue of Nike Dunk colorways, all to widespread acclaim. They have now started to bring back some of the most popular styles, but with the colors flipped. For example, the black and white Panda dunks saw their black and white detailing switched around on their reverse colorway. And, after similar releases of the UNC Low and Golden Highs, it’s now the Brazil Dunk’s turn with the release of the Nike Dunk Low Reverse Brazil.
What you need to know
The shoe will come in a green leather upper, with yellow leather overlays, inverting the original Brazil color blocking. Paired with a white midsole and a green outsole, the shoes laces, tongue tab and heel tab are all yellow. The simple colorway is reminiscent of the first Dunks in the 80s, fashioned on the colors of Nike schools.
Back in 2020, the Nike Dunk was just starting to make its comeback. The Off-White Dunks had just released, closely followed by Travis Scott’s SB Dunks which were even more popular. And Nike was ready to pounce on this new uptick in demand. One of the first few pairs they did this with was the return of a model first released in 2001. The Brazil Dunk. The shoe was a massive success, and this general release was evidence that the Dunk, not just on collaborations, but as a model, was officially back.
The release of a reverse colorway of Brazil brings back some nostalgia. Both regarding the success of the Nike Dunk during the 2000s. As well as the start of this current wave of Nike Dunk popularity, which we are still living through. Now those who missed out on the Brazil Dunks the first time around can claim its inverted brother. Which will also likely release in greater quantities.
Image: Sneaker News
When and where will it release?
The Nike Dunk Low Reverse Brazil has had a staggered release worldwide, finally properly releasing on March 6th. Therefore, it is now available both to buy and sell right here at WOOVIN.

The Air Jordan 12 Burgundy Crush: has A Ma Manière done it again?
Image: Snkrdunk
A Ma Manière, a sneaker and streetwear boutique based in Atlanta, America, has taken over the world. Through their collaborations with Jordan over the last few years, A Ma Manière has burst into the global sneakerscape. Originally making their name after a 2021 sneaker of the year candidacy with their rendition of the Air Jordan 3. A Ma Manière, after a slew of successful, follow-up releases, are now taking on the Air Jordan 12.
Image: Sneaker Baron
About the shoes
Two models are being released. The first pair comes with a black finish on the base of the upper, and the second comes in white. Both pairs feature with burgundy detailing on the midsole and on the mudguard, which stretches around the lateral side of the shoe. Otherwise, the shoes feature waxed laces and chrome eyelets around the collar of the shoe. A Ma Manière branding is on the tongue of the left shoe, alongside the Jumpman logo on the right.
Although a highly successful model, the Air Jordan 12 hasn’t been at peak popularity over the last few years. Its bulky boot-like structure has rendered the model harder to wear outside of the winter months. But there is a lot of love for the model. Many Jordan fans swear by its comfort, durability and performance as a basketball shoe in comparison to the other retroes.
So, have A Ma Manière done it again? Have they created another cult classic model? Well, the public reaction to the shoe’s release is yet to have fully been seen. But A Ma Manière has kept the model in keeping with their recent slew of burgundy collaborations. The shoe maintains the boutique’s signature aesthetic, and their use of premium materials. All of which will set the shoe up as another success for the Atlanta boutique.
Image: Sneaker News
How can you get your hands on them?
After images circulated late last year, the Jordan 12 Retro SP A Ma Manière Black released late last month. And the Jordan 12 Retro SP A Ma Manière White released a week later. Both pairs in full family sizing and are now available to buy and sell here at WOOVIN.Image: Sneaker Baron
Four of the best Jordan 4s available now at WOOVIN
Image: Sneaker News
The Jordan 4 is one of the most popular sneaker models of the last few years. Beloved for its rich history, complex panelling and retro style. Suitable for almost any outfit, it’s heavily padded for a comfortable fit. So today we are spotlighting a couple of the amazing Air Jordan 4 colorways available on WOOVIN now.
Image: Sneaker NewsJordan 4 Retro Seafoam (W)
Starting off this list is a very recent release, the Jordan 4 Retro Seafoam. Taking a classic white and black Air Jordan 4 and splashing hits of a pastel green across it. In doing so, giving the sneaker a unique look whilst also keeping it simple enough to not be overbearing. A soft green is rarely seen on shoes, especially on something as popular as the Air Jordan 4. And this pair’s execution is perfect. Although it’s classed as a women’s exclusive, WOOVIN has the shoe stocked up to an EU 44.5.Image: Sneaker NewsJordan 4 Retro Midnight Navy
Next on our list is another new colorway of the Air Jordan 4. This time a similar white base has been detailed with grey and dark blue details for a traditional finish. Plus, a black speckled pattern is also present across the grey detailing, as is often the case on Jordan products. The perfect sneaker for summer, the Jordan 4 Midnight Navy would work great alongside your favourite pair of cargos.

Jordan 4 Retro A Ma Maniere Violet OreOne of the standout silhouettes of last year, you can now pick up this soon-to-be classic colorway at WOOVIN. After several successful collaborations with Jordan, A Ma Maniere came back to work on the Jordan 4 Retro A Ma Maniére Violet Ore. They’re reworking their magic, using high-quality materials and showing why they are one of the hottest collaborators around right now. The aged off-white sole and purple leather give the shoe a worn-in luxury feel that few other models can replicate straight out of the box.
Image: Sneaker News
Jordan 4 Retro Fire Red
Last on this list we have an OG colorway, originally debuting in 1989. The Fire Red’s have been a fan-favourite ever since, going on to feature many times on other Jordan models. The black and white model with striking red details is a winning combination. Most notably, they’re the colors of Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls, transporting the wearer back to Jordans glory days. So, for that nostalgic kick, you can’t go wrong with the latest retro of the Jordan 4 Retro Fire Red.
Everything you need to know about the Jordan 6 Retro Cool Grey
Image: Sneaker News
Set to release before the end of the month, the Air Jordan 6 will return decked out in a classic Jordan colorway. Although this is the first time the Cool Grey colorway has hit the Air Jordan 6. We have already seen the colorway on the 11s, 4s and several other models. All of which, the public has received with much excitement.
Image: Sneaker News
What you need to know
The shoe will come in a nubuck grey base, with white leather overlays covering the rest of the upper. The tongue, lace lock, lining and heel tab also come in grey with white highlights. The midsole comes in white with grey detailing and the outsole in an icy blue transparent rubber. As mentioned, this is not the first time we have seen the Cool grey colorway. Popularised most notably on the Air Jordan 11, it quickly became a fan favourite. Making quite a fuss when they first released in 2010, and subsequently retro-ed in 2021. This came shortly after the colorway debuted on the Air Jordan 4. And more recently has featured on the 3’s, 10’s and 12’s. It was only a matter of time before it made it to the Air Jordan 6.
Grey’s seen quite the resurgence in the few years, primarily thanks to the rise of New Balance. Famous for their grey, previously considered “boring”, colorways. New Balance’s simple colorways paired with their well-engineered models have become a staple in the popular sneaker scene over the last few years. Going as far as to celebrate “Grey Day” every day, New Balance has brought grey sneakers up with them. Making it the perfect time for Jordan to return to a classic grey colorway of theirs. Applying it to one of their other famous models for the first time.
Image: Sneaker News
When and where will it be available?
The Jordan 6 Retro Cool Grey shall become available on the 25th of February. It will also be available in Grade School sizing, making it available for anyone who rocks the smaller sizes. After which, you can buy and sell pairs of the Air Jordan 6 Cool Grey here at WOOVIN.
Everything you need to know about the upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Low Tiffany & Co
Image: Yankee Kicks
It’s official, world-famous jeweller, Tiffany & Co, and sneaker giant, Nike are teaming up. Updating the Nike Air Force 1 with a luxury makeover. It will follow on from a recent surge of high-end collaborations. With Nike trying to replicate the success of their collaboration last year with Louis Vuitton.
Image: Yankee Kicks
What you need to know
The shoe comes in beautiful black suede with hits of their classic Tiffany Blue on the swooshes. Rope laces and italicised Tiffany lettering in silver detail the tongue. And a silver engraved piece attached at the heel references Tiffany & Co’s jewellery background. Leather detailing is present around the eyelets and on the heel tab. And more Tiffany blue is visible on the insole and the circle parts of the sole’s traction pattern. These details combine to create a sleek silhouette, that revels in the subtlety of its features. We have also seen a reversed pair, whereby the Tiffany blue color takes up most of the shoe. At this point however, we can assume that colorway will be a friends and family release.
What most people have compared the shoes to, was their unofficial collaboration back in 2005. When Nike first collaborated with Diamond Supply Co. on a pair of “Aqua Blue” Nike SB Dunk Lows. What was special about the pair, as well as being super successful, was their use of Tiffany’s classic blue hue. Hence, they are often referred to as the “Tiffany” Dunks. Therefore, for Tiffany & Co themselves to finally take on a Nike silhouette has drawn several comparisons between their silhouette and Diamond Supply Co.’s. Giving sneaker fans a wave of nostalgia for the original days of the SB Dunks.
Image: Yankee Kicks
When and Where will they be available?
The Tiffany and Co Air Force 1 is currently set to release on March 7th, for $400. But it will also release alongside several silver accessories sold separately. These include a shoehorn, and a toothbrush, referencing sneakerheads’ classic method for cleaning their kicks. After its release, you will be able to buy and sell the Nike Air Force 1 Low Tiffany & Co right here at WOOVIN.

What you need to know about the Big Red Boot and the company behind it
Image: GQ
What is the Big Red Boot?
The MSCHF Big Red Boot is artwork collective (and increasingly sneaker-oriented brand) MSCHF’s latest silhouette to cause headlines. It’s fashioned from the attire of the popular manga character Astro boy. Covering up to the knee, with a simplistic and circular shape, the shoes consist of a TPU rubber. This allows the boot to bend and remain wearable yet still convey a comic book-like aesthetic. Covered completely in red, they are hard to miss.
Although they aren’t on sale to the public yet, we have seen them in pre-match tunnels and courtside at NBA games, and on feet in the WWE. The shoes have even gone viral because of how seemingly hard they can be to take off. Every time it has done so it’s caught everyone’s eye, making headlines. But these boots aren’t from a global retailer like Adidas and Nike, so who is behind this smash hit?
Image: Complex
Who are MSCHF?
Previously best known for their multiple lawsuits with Nike and Vans, MSCHF has been making a small buzz for a while in the sneaker world. This has mainly been for their wild designs, which often took a lot of inspiration from previously established sneaker classics. For example, the “Wavy Baby” in collaboration with rapper Tyga. This model took the same craziness of the Red Boot but applied it to the Vans Old Skool. Much to Vans’ discontent.
MSCHF has used this method to success several times over the last few years. Justifying their recreation of patented products as a form of transformative art. However, such reasoning has rarely been seen as an acceptable excuse by brands. More recently, however, they released the Gobstomper sneakers with talk show host Jimmy Fallon. When worn down, the shoe’s upper would reveal several brightly colored layers. This saw them go for more of a unique silhouette, dodging any lawsuits though still relying on celebrity endorsements.
Image: Complex
The release of the MSCHF Big Red Boot has seen a shift in MSCHF’s marketing strategy, however. Doubling down on their wackiness and absurdity but cutting out the more controversial elements. As well as their strong dependency on celebrities. The shoes stand alone as impressive and are causing celebrities to want to assimilate with the brand. Instead of MSCHF being put in the position where they are trying to reach out for endorsements. This seems more in line with MSCHF’s artistic vision and signals them as a brand to look out for in the future.

Looking ahead to the Jordan 1 Retro High OG White Cement
Image: Sneaker Bar Detroit
Jordan’s most popular silhouette meets Jordan’s most popular pattern with the new release of the Jordan 1 Retro High OG White Cement. We’ve got word that, later this month, Jordan will be releasing a version of their classic Air Jordan 1. However, it will ditch its traditional solid colors, instead receiving an elephant print makeover.
Image: Sneaker Bar Detroit
What you need to know
The pair comes in a white leather base, with an elephant print covering the leather overlays. Hints of black are present around the collar, on the Nike swoosh and on the laces. The upper is paired with an off-white midsole and grey outsole.
The “White Cement” name is in reference to the Air Jordan 3 colorway of the same name. Also coming in white, grey and black, but characterized by its elephant print “cement” detailing. First appearing on the Air Jordan 3, the infamous elephant print has become a staple of Jordan’s branding. And since then, it’s featured on a number of their other silhouettes. Its three-dimensional nature and cracked appearance give the sneaker character and mark it distinctly as a Jordan product. In essence, it’s their equivalent of Louis Vuitton’s Damier and monogram patterns or Gucci’s red and green stripes. Such a distinct pattern, therefore, furthers Jordan’s attempts at assimilating with luxury brands, something the main Air Jordan line has been trying to accomplish throughout its history. As proven by their multiple silhouettes inspired by luxury sports cars and high-end pricing.
Furthermore, introducing this pattern (which started on the Air Jordan 3) behind the Wings logo present on the Air Jordan 1 is a notable touch. The Jumpman logo replaced the Wings logo after the Air Jordan 2. Therefore, making this the first time the pattern and branding have been present together on an Air Jordan model. What’s more, as well as being historically significant, it looks great too!
Image: Sneaker Bar Detroit
When and where will it be available?
Having only just released official photos, the shoes aren’t set to release until February, the 26th to be exact. After which, you can buy and sell the Jordan 1 Retro High OG White Cement right here at WOOVIN.
LeBron James is covering his latest model in a Liverpool-themed colorway
On the surface, a collaboration between one of Britain’s biggest football clubs and basketball superstar, LeBron James, can seem strange. But, with the knowledge that both parties are endorsed by Nike and that James has been a minority owner of Liverpool since 2011, his latest sneaker collaboration is hardly surprising.
Image: Sneaker News
What you need to know
This is not the first time LeBron James has collaborated with Liverpool, though: they originally linked up back in 2012 on the LeBron 9. Its relative success caused a reverse colorway of the original collaboration to be released last year and is likely why the two have teamed up again on the LeBron 20. LeBron also released a pair of LeBron 18s with PSG’s Kylian Mbappe a couple of years ago, so this is the 3rd time he has given his shoes a football-themed makeover. But the nature of this collaboration isn’t the only reason it’s attracting a buzz, it’s also an extremely interesting design. It takes the LeBron 20 and strips back its panelling for a more luxurious, minimal suede upper. The model retains its performance abilities with its Zoom cushioned sole but the upper makes the shoe much more viable off the court as well. The shoes come entirely in red, save for a couple of black details underneath the swoosh on the side of the shoe, and on the outsole. Gold detailing on the deubré and the top eyelet adds to the luxurious feel of the shoe, whilst also in keeping with Liverpool’s color palette. Moreover, Liverpool branding is present on the heels, whilst LeBron’s signature covers the leather tongue tab.
Image: Sneaker News
When and where will it be available?
The LeBron 20 Liverpool F.C. will be released on the 9th of February worldwide and will soon after become available through our WOOVIN site. So, if you are looking for a new pair of basketball shoes, the LeBron 20 has been a standout model this year in terms of its performance capabilities. Or, if you’re just looking for a sleek model that’ll catch people’s attention, maybe this is the shoe for you.

Everything you need to know about Tom Sachs’ latest design
In 2022, Tom Sachs and Nike released their unusually conventional new model, creatively titled the General Purpose Shoe. And now in 2023, they have teamed up again to release a heavily anticipated brown colorway. The Nike Craft General Purpose Shoe Tom Sachs Field Brown.
Image: Sole Collector
What you need to know
The new colorway was first seen back in August of last year and, since then, has been an anticipated release of an otherwise heavily demanded sneaker. The shoe comes in a suede and reinforced mesh upper covered entirely in a light brown, whilst the darker brown midsole is attached to a thin black outsole. Other details include flat brown laces, black pull tabs on the heel and tongue, and black and orange Nike branding on a white tongue tag. All these details come together to create a simple, and even self-described as boring, silhouette. But the team intended to create the perfect shoe to leave by the door, a shoe to slip on and meet your everyday needs. And their latest colorway’s simple color-blocking drives that message home.
Whilst there is a lot of demand within the world of sneakers to get anything with Tom Sachs’ name on it, the General Purpose Shoe is not designed to be a rare collector’s item. It’s a shoe that’s designed to be worn and is marketed towards everyday sneaker wearers. Rather than messing about with bright and dynamic marketing, it’s kept very simple with no models or athletes’ endorsements. The shoes are left to stand up for themselves, gaining merit solely on their practicality. Hence why the colorway using darker colors is significant, since it will therefore have fewer visible stains, looking good for longer than the white and yellow colorways released last year. Moreover, brown is a particularly popular colour within sneakers right now, off the back of the earthy tones used on Yeezy and Travis Scott models that have since caused a greater trend within the sneaker industry.
Image: Sole Collector
When and where will it be available?
If you would like to get a pair of the brown General Purpose Shoes for yourself, they will initially become available on the 6th of February in North America and will then get an international release on the 7th of February. After which, you could buy and sell the Nike Craft General Purpose Shoe Tom Sachs Field Brown on WOOVIN.

Looking ahead to the latest Spider-man themed Air Jordan 1s
The Air Jordan 1 has been one of the most popular sneakers for some time now, and 2023 is expected to be no different. But one particular pair is standing out amongst the rest as one of the most exciting Air Jordan 1 releases that will hit stores this year. So, without further ado here is everything we know about the Jordan 1 High OG “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse.”
Image: Sole Collector
Everything you need to know
After the release of the first Spider-man: Into the Spider-verse movie, Jordan released a pair of Jordan 1s that closely resembled the shoes of the main character, Miles Morales. This piece of cross-advertising, using Jordan’s position in pop culture within the film and Spiderman’s name to sell the real shoes, was a hit. Especially given the connections between comic book characters and collectables. The culture around superhero paraphernalia shares a lot of its nature with the world of sneaker collecting. We have already seen brands like vans and converse make Marvel and DC collaboration sneakers before. But this was the first time one of the most popular and in-demand models, the Air Jordan 1, received the same treatment. Moreover, now that the sequel to the first movie is soon to be released, we have finally gotten photos of the following Air Jordan 1 release.
Coming in a Chicago-style colourway, the shoes feature the same white, red and black detailing – but the main difference comes on the upper. The red overlays are split into different parts, with different patterns and materials stitched together. This is done to create an effect mimicking the splicing of multiverses and cartoon styles which takes place in the movies. Otherwise, the shoes feature an off-white midsole and tongue, adding an aged look to the shoe, matching current trends in sneaker fashion at the moment.
Image: Sole Collector
When and where will it be available?
Expect the shoes to release sometime in May, likely coinciding with the release of the Spider-man: Across the Spider-verse movie. Upon their release, they should become available through a number of trusted sellers using WOOVIN, where you can pick sneakers without any hassle or buyer fees.

What you need to know about the latest Air Jordan 1 Low Travis Scott collaboration
After a slew of high-profile Travis Scott collaborations, the first Nike Travis Scott of 2023 has been revealed, taking shape as a new colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Low. With it likely being one of the biggest releases so far this year, here is everything you need to know in preparation for its release.
Image: Hypebeast
Everything you need to know
The Jordan 1 Retro Low OG Travis Scott Olive will come in a black suede base, with off-white leather overlays. But the colorway gets its name from the olive nubuck backwards swoosh. Olive detailing also features on the outsole, alongside a sail midsole. And the shoes come with a choice of 3 pairs of laces, coming in olive, red and white.
The model is particularly interesting because of its call-backs and similarities with the other Travis Scott collaborations. For example, the olive tone has been used a couple of times by Scott, most notably on his first Air Jordan 6 collaboration. And the white overlays are reminiscent of the Fragment x Travis Scott High and Reverse Mocha Low pairs which were released in the last two years. Even the red laces are a nice detail which was also present on the first Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 High.
Image: Hypebeast
Whilst this is the 5th Jordan 1 Low Travis Scott has released, it’s understandable given the sustained hype of these releases. Not far off the insanely popular Nike Dunk low silhouette, but with all the history of the Air Jordan line, the Air Jordan 1 Low has even been described by Kevin Durant as the best Jordan ever. And Travis Scott’s editions are the pinnacles of the model.
Image: Hypebeast
When and where will it be available?
The Jordan 1 Retro Low OG Travis Scott Olive is expected to be a women’s exclusive, but a full-size run means almost everyone who would like a pair will be able to find a pair in their size. They are expected to release on the 26th of April but shall shortly afterwards become available on the WOOVIN website. Where you can pick them up from several trusted sellers, without any buyer fees.
A look ahead to the Nike Air Force 1 Low SP AMBUSH Phantom and Black
Image: Sole Retriever
Popular clothing brand Ambush has worked with Nike several times over the last few years, on the Nike Air Adjust Force as well as on the Nike Dunk. But the brands latest creation has taken on the Air Force 1, adding a simple yet futuristic take to the sneaker which is bound to grab people’s attention and dominate sneaker headlines in the latter half of February 2023.
What you need to know
A couple of colorways of this Nike Air Force 1 creation have been released in blue and yellow, and green and yellow colorways. But next month we will see the collaboration take on much more traditional colors, coming in black with a white swoosh and white with a black swoosh. Referred to as the Phantom and Black colorways of the model. Most notably, the otherwise leather models feature plastic Swooshes, which extend past the heel of the sneaker – similar to the swooshes on the Ambush Nike Dunk and more recently the Nike LeBron 20. Plastic overlays are also present on the heel of the shoe, and Nike and Ambush’s branding is present on the heel and tongue tab of the sneakers. The Deubrés have also got a futuristic update, swapping out their metal frame for 3D-printed AF1 branding.
Image: Sole Retriever
Black and white are by far the most popular colors of the Air Force 1, particularly with the all-white Air Force 1 being the standout colorway of the model, outshining all others. And, whilst the all-black pairs have gained a reputation for being worn by criminals and all-around mischievous people, their success and popularity are undeniable. Whilst the previous color-filled Air Force 1s from Ambush fitted their avant-garde style, it’s ultimately the white and black pairs which we shall look to, to find out the full potential of the model.
Image: Sole Retriever
When and where will it be available?
The Nike Air Force 1 Low SP AMBUSH Phantom and Black colorways will be available from February 28th, coming in a matching black and white Ambush branded box. Expect the pairs to become available on WOOVIN soon after, where you can buy shoes free of all hassle and buyer fees.
Looking ahead to the Air Jordan 1 Retro High “True Blue”
Image: HypebeastAn Air Jordan 1 release will always be a big deal but, when it’s a high-cut version of a muchbeloved Air Jordan colorway, it becomes a huge deal. One of the biggest releases so far thisyear, this is what you need to know about the “True Blue” Air Jordan 1’s.What you need to know
The shoe comes in a white leather base with blue detailing across the leather overlays around the toe and midfoot sections of the model. And a cement grey dresses the collar and heelcounter overlays. The upper is paired with a matching white midsole and cement greyoutsole, and Nike branding is dotted around the model in blue.Image: HypebeastKeeping the colorway simple and yet familiar, the model is set to honour the 35thanniversary of the Air Jordan 3. It does so by taking the “True Blue” colorway that is sopopular on the Air Jordan 3 and applying it to the Air Jordan 1. This uses a familiar processthat Jordan has relied on over the last few years. To create new colorways whilst stillcashing in on the same nostalgia, Jordan has been taking popular colorways from one modeland applying them to another. Take for example the Air Jordan 6 “Hare” taking on the“Hare” colorway that was popularised on the Air Jordan 7. This particular release remainssignificant, however, because it’s much less usual for Jordan to use such a method on the AirJordan 1 and 3 – models that have seen plenty of success with new and creative colorwaychoices.Keeping the retro theme, the model will also come in a shape most reminiscent of the OG1985 Air Jordan 1’s rather than the modified shape of more recent Air Jordan retros. This hasbeen a popular decision after the success of the 1985 Georgetown Air Jordan 1s, a shoe thatalso featured blue and grey detailing when it was released back in 2022.Image: HypebeastWhen and where will it be released?

Image: Sole Retriever
As is tradition for sneaker brands these days, Jordan brand are releasing a collection of shoes to celebrate the Lunar New Year. But what is less ordinary is Jordan’s choice to release their 2008 model, the Air Jordan 23, in a brand-new colorway.
Excluding collaborations with Titan22 and Trophy Room, this is the first Air Jordan 23 to release since its initial run. And whilst it’s a well-respected Air Jordan, it’s not a particularly well-known Air Jordan. Particularly since Michael Jordan had long since retired by the time they were released. Hence why we are so excited to get another release of the model in the coming weeks. Granted this isn’t an OG retro. But if the model is now in Jordans sneaker rotation for an event like the Lunar New Year, hopefully this is a sign of bigger things to come.
Image: Sole Retriever
What you need to know
The shoes come in an all-leather upper, with the base in white and a soft mint color on the main overlay and the mudguard. Red markings are present on the tongue and the insole. These are inspired by the Hong Bao, or red envelopes, which are often handed out to one another to celebrate the new year. With 2023 being the year of the rabbit, the shoes will also feature a rabbit motif on the inside of the tongue, replacing Jordan’s fingerprint which usually takes up this spot. Instead, Jordan’s mark is present in the form of his signature written in gold across the mudguard, matching other gold detailing across the shoe. Lastly, the sole features a transparent plastic casing around the midsole and a grey outsole.
Image: Sole Retriever
When and where will it be available?
The shoe is expected to be released in the coming weeks, potentially as a region exclusive. It shall also be releasing alongside new colorways of the Luka 1, Legacy 312, 23/7, Series 0.5 and a limited run of a lunar new year Air Jordan 1 Low. But, if you are interested in any of these pairs, save yourself the hassle and wait for them to become available on WOOVIN to avoid all buyer fees.
Starting the year off with a bang! The Jordan 9 Retro Light Olive
Image: Sneaker News
The Jordan 9 Retro Light Olive shall grace sneaker shelves this January, taking clear inspiration from the Jordan 9 OG Olive. The latter being released in 1993, what better way to celebrate its 30th anniversary than bringing it back with an updated look? Moreover, the last time we saw the model was in 2012, so fans have had plenty of time to get excited for a return.
What you need to know
The colorway comes in a black leather upper with a light brown mudguard circling the base of the upper and scaling up to the collar. The sole also comes in black, whilst Jumpman branding on the sole, heel and tongue comes in royal blue.
Back in the day, collectors used to cover the olive mudguard on the original pair with a black sharpie. In doing so, creating more of a Bred colorway. But these days the light olive detailing suits current trends, with earthy tones in style. In part, thanks to the desert-themed releases from Travis Scott we have seen over the last few years.
Image: Sneaker News
The model differs from the original Air Jordan 9 Olive primarily by swapping the traditional olive mudguard for a lighter olive colour, hence the name. But also, the branding comes in blue as opposed to red on the originals. This is similar to other Jordan colorways, such as the Jordan 14 Retro White Hyper Royal, which also swapped the red detailing on the Jordan 14 Candy Cane for blue detailing.
The silhouette of the Jordan 9 is ultimately a basketball sneaker in line with the other Air Jordans. But it takes on a heavy baseball cleat influence to match Jordan’s career change to minor league baseball at the time. As a result, Penny Hardaway wore the model on the hardcourt whilst MJ wore a pair on the baseball diamond, with the sole swapped out for cleats. Although not to everyone’s taste, the baseball influence gave the Jordan 9 a unique look to other shoes at the time. Immortalizing Jordans career change forever by way of its impact on his sneakers.
Image: Sneaker News
When and where will it be available?
The model will be released on the 7th of January, but check out WOOVIN for the best deals, where they should become available soon after.
Beginning our countdown of the best sneakers of 2022
As the year comes to an end, it’s time to rate our favourite sneakers which have been released over the last 12 months: pitting our favourite kicks against each other, measuring their success in terms of popularity, creativity and greater importance within the sneaker space. But before we release our full top 10 list, we thought it was worth writing about some of the beloved models that narrowly missed out on our list. So, without further ado, check out below our honourable mentions for 2022’s sneakers of the year.
Image: Complex
Starting off this list we have the Louis Vuitton x Air Force 1. Although many people have put it as their top sneaker of the year, we thought that such an exclusive model can’t be featured on a top 10 list of sneakers when we have barely seen it. Other than viral images on social media, the models that retailed for no less than €2000 have not come close to reaching the average sneaker collector. That being said, its release is worth a mention, if not thanks to the iconic nature of the two brands coming together, then as the brainchild of the late great designer Virgil Abloh. Tying together his work with both brands throughout his design career, the model stands out as the most luxurious Air Force 1 we have ever seen.
Image: RESHOEVN8R
Next up on our list of honourable mentions is the Salahe Bembury X Crocs Pollex Clogs that have been so popular during the course of the year. Although not making it onto our top 10 list since its standout colourways were released at the backend of last year, Sasquatch, Cobbler and Crocodile editions have all been released this year to much acclaim. The unique design has helped usher in a wave of slip-on models this year, and its cutting-edge production process will likely continue to influence other slip-on models for years to come.
Image: Complex
The Kobe 6 “Mambacita” deserves a mention, as whilst the average sneaker fan – especially outside of America – may have looked over the release, it was such a big deal for the Kobe fans amongst us. Honouring Kobe as well as his late daughter, a fellow basketball player, it comes in their Mamba Sports Academy teams colours. This deeply personal release resonated with sneaker fans and Kobe fanatics alike, especially after an uneasy period where Nike’s deal with the Kobe estate fell through, leading to a stoppage in Kobe models. Seeing the two parties resume their partnership and provide such a beautiful model to fans was a special moment in sneakers that is worth remembering.
Image: Sneakerjagers
Making Asic’s first appearance on this list, after a very successful year, is their leading Gel Kayano 14 model. More specifically, a rendition of the Gel Kayano 14 from one of the top collaborators of the last few years, Montreal-based creative design studio JJJJound. Coming in a silver and black upper paired with a sail midsole, the pairs quickly sold out and are now reselling for over three times the original retail price. What makes this shoe so special, however, is that it stands alone – in a year when the Gel Kayano 14 has received so much praise, as THE Gel Kayano 14. No other colorway of the silhouette comes close to the popularity and notability of JJJJound’s take on the model. It perfects quite a simple look that still captures the essence of the 2000’s runner and pushes the model to its fullest potential.
Image: Sneaker Freaker
The last sneaker that we felt deserved a mention was a personal favourite, the Stray Rats x New Balance 580. Whilst it didn’t garner the same attention as any of the shoes on our top 10 list, it’s notable firstly for helping to bring back the New Balance 580, an initially Japan-exclusive model, ushering in a run of general release 580s which has been confirmed to continue well into 2023. Moreover, the two different colourways released as part of the collaboration both brought something new to New Balance’s roster, offering a contrasting look filled with late 2000’s nostalgia, perfect for the y2k style which is so popular right now.
So, do you agree with our picks? What shoes do you expect us to include in our top 10 sneakers of the year list? To be notified when we release our top 10 sneakers of the year, follow us @woovinsneakers on Instagram.
Kith will be taking Salomon to new places this December
Image: Sole Retriever
Kith, a sneaker and streetwear boutique started in 2011 by Ronnie Fieg, has become one of the best-known high-end retailers of sneakers, not only in America but across the world. But one of their defining traits is the frequency of their collaborations with other brands, such as their Kith Treats ice cream selection devoting flavours to stars such as LeBron James and Action Bronson. In addition are their sneaker collaborations with Nike, New Balance, Asics and a whole host of brands, sneaker and fashion related or otherwise.
Image: Sole Retriever
This month, however, they will take on the increasingly popular silhouette, the XT-6, as their first collaboration with French sports equipment and clothing brand Salomon. It was popularized during the recent “Gorpcore” trend which focused on functional outdoor wear, from hiking clothes to extreme weather jackets. Alongside brands like Arc’teryx, Salomon – who have been putting out quality outdoor gear since 1947 – have adapted to their growing lifestyle-focused consumer base. This is no clearer than with their XT line, with frequent collaborations and new colourways being made to keep consumers’ attention. And with much success: the XT-6 has held on to its popularity as we come out of the “Gorpcore” phase, due to their easy wearability with several athleisure/y2k outfits. Plus, this Kith collaboration comes off the back of Salomon’s collaboration with Maison Margiela, noting a clear indication of the kind of audience Salomon are trying to capture, diversifying their sales from functional sportswear towards increasingly trendy lifestyle designs.
Image: Sole Retriever
The shoes have been remade in three new colourways, all with white detailing playing second fiddle to the blue, brown and purple colours that define each pair. Otherwise, the model is kept relatively simple and minimalist save for the addition of Gore-Tex to the model for the first time, further blending the worlds of function and fashion. Subtle Kith branding shall be featured on the tongue tab alongside Salomon branding, which is also present on the heel counter.
Look out for these pairs landing in stores from the 19th of December but, if you’re looking to pick up a pair of Salomons over the holidays, check out WOOVIN to guarantee you are getting the best prices.
Everything you need to know about the eBay x Nike SB Dunk Low
Image: Sole Collector
One of the most revered Nike SB Dunks of all time, the original eBay Dunk shall be given a proper release this December – but not how you would expect to see it. To explain its appearance, here’s the backstory you need to know if you are keen on the model.
Back in 2003, a pair of Nike SB Dunk Lows made in collaboration with eBay (featuring their famous red, yellow, green and blue colourscheme) were auctioned off for charity through the site. Whilst they were advertised as being 1 of 1s, three pairs were actually made. The first was a sample pair, the second was the pair which was sold and the third set was gifted to Sandy Bodecker when he retired in 2008.
Image: Sole Collector
For its first proper release, however, the first pair arguably holds its significance, as it was cut into four parts after the auction to ensure the purchased pair was truly a one-of-one. In doing so, the image of the four pieces of SB Dunk has become so significant that the pair set to release will feature the same indentations where the sample pair was cut. In its place will be transparent panels holding the three parts together, alongside transparent details on the sole in this place.
The third pair is also relevant to the story, however, as it was made later on to be gifted to Sandy Bodecker in 2008, who can be credited for Nike’s flourishing skateboarding line in the 2000s after many failed attempts throughout the 90s. Amongst many other brilliant decisions, it was ultimately his idea to convert the popular basketball model, the Nike Dunk, into a skating shoe, having noticed the abundance of skaters wearing Nike’s basketball models. The Nike SB Dunk Low would go on to take over the world, hence his retirement present being fully earned. In 2018, however, Bodecker would pass away, leaving behind a legacy that has stayed and will continue to stay with sneaker fans. His general popularity and sheer likeability within Nike’s team are why his work continues to be remembered, and why it was only right to include him in the story of the eBay x SB Dunk Low’s eventual release. Hence the image of Sandy Bodecker holding fellow Nike employee James Arizumi’s son printed on the shoe’s left insole.
Image: Sole Collector
The eBay x Nike SB Dunk Low will be released on December the 17th in limited quantities, alongside 10 even more exclusive pairs that come with a skateable box. But look out for the model becoming available soon afterwards via one of WOOVIN‘s verified stores. Offering zero buyer fees and taking out the hassle of getting your hands on sneakers, if you’re a fan of the SB Dunk silhouette you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better collector’s item.
The latest Salehe Bembury release will be coming this holiday
Image: Sole Collector
Salehe Bembury is one of the hottest sneaker designers in the game right now, stamping his mark onto the scene in late 2020 for his work with New Balance, particularly on the newly unarchived 2002R. More recently, however, amongst a slew of popular releases it’s been his crocs that have garnered everyone’s attention. But now, once again, Salehe Bembury has returned to work with New Balance, this time on the 990v2 – the shoe that will carry on from his “Peace be the journey” and “Water be the guide” releases, all of which take inspiration from the environment around us.
Officially named the New Balance 990v2 “Sand be the time,” one quick look at the silhouette will show you why the shoe is named what it is. Bembury’s latest collaboration features a pink suede upper with pink mesh underlays and a grey nubuck underlay around the toe box of the sneaker. The New Balance logo on the side of the shoe is made from a fluffy purple material, matching the 990 marking on the tongue and the top eyelets. The midsole features New Balance’s Abzorb cushioning and comes in a dark beige – referencing the shoe’s sandy theme – save for a grey detail on the heel and the outsole, which comes in purple.
Image: Sole Collector
Whilst Salehe Bembury has released a number of projects with New Balance, this three-sneaker series has been by far and away the most popular, partly due to the sheer thought that has been going into each release. From the ad campaigns and official images to the unique boxes each pair has come in, Bembury has successfully turned his releases into a spectacle that people don’t want to miss out on. Moreover, he is creating a product that feels like it is worth the money, with no corners cut and utilising the most interesting materials available.
Image: Sole Collector
The New Balance 990v2 has seen a limited release through Bembury’s website but is expected to be released in greater quantities in the near future. If you fancy getting a pair or are looking for potential sneaker gifts in time for Christmas, check out WOOVIN for all your sneaker needs. Search through our verified stores with the knowledge that every purchase has zero buyer fees, giving you the best deal possible.
A look ahead to the release of the Air Jordan 11 Cherry
Image: Sneaker News
If you are tapped into the world of shoes, you may know that Sneakerheads eagerly anticipate the holiday season for one common reason. Although Air Jordan 11 lows and the occasional women’s Air Jordan high release throughout the year, every december, a single pair of Air Jordan 11’s are released in the run-up to Christmas. Its release is looked forward to throughout the year, and the quantities of pairs made for the annual Air Jordan 11 release reflect that. Back in 2015, SportsScanInfo reported over a million pairs of Air Jordan 11’s were sold that December, so you can comfortably predict with the growth of the sneaker market over the last few years, that the stock count for this year’s Air Jordan 11 Cherry model is likely to also be at least 7-figures.
Image: Sneaker News
2023’s Air Jordan 11 colourway features a red patent leather, with a white mesh around the top of the upper. The phylon midsole comes in white, with red detailing on the carbon fibre shank plate present on the medial arch. Lastly, the outsole is made from a translucent rubber, and white and red branding is present around the Sneaker.
The Cherry colourway was most famous for its usage on an OG model of the Air Jordan 12, released back in 1997, which worked in Jordan’s Chicago Bulls red and white colours, with a splash of black on the lining. The colourway returned once again on the Air Jordan 13 in 1998, and subsequent retroes of both models have kept the colourway’s relevance ticking over. However, that is not to say that the colourway doesn’t have any history with the Air Jordan 11. Although not an original Air Jordan 11 high release from 1986, the Cherry colourway debuted on the lowcut version of the model back in 2001, cementing its place in the history of the sneaker, and justifying the upcoming release’s surrounding pandemonium.
Image: Sneaker News
The Air Jordan 11 Cherry has been confirmed to be releasing in full family sizing on December 10th, but if you want the best price without having to deal with the stress of trying to seek out a pair, keep your eyes on WOOVIN. Our verified stores offer sneakers on the secondary market with zero buyer fees, and flexible delivery options to suit your needs.
What you need to know about the Air Jordan 6 Chrome Metallic Silver
Image: House of Heat
What’s releasing?
The Air Jordan 6 shall be returning this winter, this time in a brand-new Silver Chrome colourway. The upper comes primarily in a black durabuck, with silver accents on the heel tab, midsole and the Jumpman logo on the tongue. The outsole is then also black, with transparent blue details adding a pop of colour and contrast to the sneaker. And, as a nice attention to detail, the shoes will come in a matching box, half covered in silver and the remainder in black. Because of its appearance, the model has fetched many comparisons to the DMP Air Jordan 6, which was re-released in 2020. But, instead of the gold detailing, the model features fetching silver detailing, reminiscent of the Jubilee 11s which also came out in 2020.
Image: House of Heat
This is not the first time such a colourway has been present on an Air Jordan 6 but it is the first time it’s been featured on an Air Jordan 6 High. The black metallic colourway debuted on the Air Jordan 6 Low back in 2002 and then returned due to popular demand in 2015. And, as much as we love the Air Jordan 6 Low, the high-top version is just so iconic that the excitement about this release is hardly surprising. As a predominantly black colourway, the Air Jordan 6 High becomes a very versatile shoe, capable of being worn with smarter outfits, comfy sweatpants and everything in between. Plus, the bulky, cushioned build is ideal for keeping your feet warm during the colder months. And, whilst a predominantly black silhouette may not scream “Christmas,” it makes for an undeniably clean colourway either way, which complements the shape of the Air Jordan 6 High very well.
Where & when?
Although it has already been released stateside, the Air Jordan 6 Silver Chrome will become available in Europe from the 2nd of December, where it shall hopefully become available in one of the many stores registered on WOOVIN soon after. So, keep an eye on your favourite stores to skip out on all buyer fees if you want to pick up this beautiful Air Jordan 6 just in time for Christmas.

Everything you need to know about the Air Jordan 1 Lost And Found
Image: Nike
What?
The latest rendition of the all too-famous Air Jordan 1 has stirred up some serious buzz in the months running up to its release, namely due to its identical appearance to the Air Jordan 1 Chicago. Only differing in terms of some purposely aged detailing, the Lost and Found Air Jordan 1’s are inspired by mom-and-pop shops (a name for a small independent retailer). Namely, the experience of finding an old, crumpled box of Chicago Air Jordan 1’s hidden away in the basement. This story, therefore, explains the subtle yellowing on the sole and cracked leather around the heel, as well as the mock receipt that comes with every pair. Whilst a nice story that emphasizes the idea of “hunting” for shoes, a feeling which many sneaker fans can relate to, it’s ultimately the fact that these shoes are practically just Air Jordan 1 Chicago’s which fans are so unbelievably excited about.
Image: Nike
Where and When?
The Air Jordan 1 Lost and Found is releasing globally on the 19th of November, so this coming Saturday, in full family sizing. This date comes seven years after the last general release retro of the Air Jordan 1 Chicago, so there has been a significant build-up of demand for such a shoe. Similar shoes have been released in this time, such as the Trophy Room 1’s or the Spiderman: Into the Multiverse pair. But this is the first time since 2015 that this look is expected to return in significant quantities, if the full family size run is anything to go by. Moreover, this is the closest to the original Air Jordan 1 Chicago we have seen in a while, even if the cracked leather means its out-of-the-box look is slightly different. It all adds up to create a vintage, and nostalgic feel, which is why we get Air Jordan retros in the first place right? After its original release, you can expect to see it pop up on WOOVIN, where you can filter your search results to find every store stocking it. So why not save yourself the stress of trying to cop it on release day and trust that WOOVIN’s zero buyer fees will secure you the best deal on the secondary market.

Our top 5 sneakers expected to release before 2023
This week we aren’t playing around, we are going to get straight into our list of the top sneakers expected to release later this year. All of which will become available on WOOVIN once they are released.
Air Jordan 1 Lost and Found
Starting off this list with a bang, possibly the most exciting release before the end of the year is a new, but very familiar, Air Jordan 1 colourway, toted the “Lost and Found” 1’s. Featuring the same look as the Chicago’s, many will be treating this release as another OG Chicago retro, but this colourway is offering slightly more than that. Not only will the model come with a slightly faded sole, tongue and cracked leather collar, but the box will contain a mock invoice for the sneaker inside. This all adds up to tell a story of stumbling across a loose pair of Air Jordan 1 Chicago’s at the back of a mom & pop shop (a small independent retail store for our European readers.)

Air Jordan 2 OG Chicago
Well, if you like the Air Jordan 1 Lost and Found, but would’ve preferred the OG Chicago version, don’t worry, you will have a chance to get your hands on another classic Chicago-themed Jordan this year. After a successful year of collaborations, the Air Jordan 2 is finally returning in its original glory, sporting those white, red and black Chicago Bulls colours that bring so much nostalgia to anyone who witnessed MJ in motion.

New Balance 990 V6
New Balance has been on a mean streak the last few years, and one of the trailblazing sneakers in this regard has been their quintessential shoe, the New Balance 990. Well, this infamous line of shoes will be taking its next step forward this November, with its sixth version finally going on sale. A hilarious ad featuring rapper Action Bronson and Olympian Sydney Mclaughlin amongst other stars has set this model up to be a very significant sneaker for the brand, and its future.
Image: Nice Kicks
DJ Khaled x Air Jordan 5 pack
Not a singular shoe, but an assortment of pastel-coloured Air Jordan 5’s. The “We The Best” pack has stirred up some serious buzz online thanks to the outspoken collaborator behind them, but also because of how beautiful each colour looks. And with the infrequency of Air Jordan 5 collabs, this release is set to be a big deal.
Image: Empire Media Kings
Air Jordan 11 Cherry
Lastly, The highlight of the holiday season for many sneakerheads is the obligatory Air Jordan 11 release, and 2022 shall be no different. This year, a white and shimmering red rendition, known as the “Cherry” Jordan 11’s will return for the first time since it debuted on the Air Jordan 11 Low back in 2016. Although not as popular as the Air Jordan 11 colourways of recent years, such as the “Breds,” expect these Christmas stunners to still attract lines around the block.

Looking at the Kanye West and Adidas fallout
Over the last month or so, Kanye West has been on a mass media tour, giving interviews to any and all
platforms, in the name of free speech, and to air out his grievances with his collaborating brands. But
whilst this has caused subsequent fallout with those brands, namely Adidas, it wasn’t his dismissive
comments about them directly that spurred their relationship to splinter, but rather the antisemitic
comments Kanye West has been vocalizing.Image: Time
As a result, the 45-year-old rapper and designer hailing from Chicago has been formally dropped from
his contract with Adidas. Publicly condemning his words towards the Jewish community, although not
commenting on his other hateful remarks, Adidas have finally committed to leaving Kanye West and
recalling all shoes made in collaboration with him from stores. Whilst this is a story in itself, that is being
covered all over the news, we would like to quickly have a look at what Kanye’s actions mean to those
within the industry.
As we are all aware, Yeezy has been extremely successful, and as a result, they have built a huge team to
power the collective creative genius behind each of their shoe releases. All of this team are now out of a
job as a result of Kanye West’s actions. Many of these team members that have lost their jobs have
made it clear that they publicly support what Adidas has done but will miss their team and the work
they did with them. So many people are involved in the designing process of a shoe, from the materials
to the technology, and the colour palettes. And many of these talented designers have been caught in
the crossfire, paying the price for their boss’s actions.Image: House of Heat
Moreover, many stores have come out in support of Adidas dropping Kanye but are distraught over their
choice to withdraw Yeezy’s from stores. Not necessarily because they thought it was “going too far,” but
rather because of how much they relied on Yeezy deliveries to make their living. Yeezy’s were always
excellent selling shoes and were therefore very important releases for retail stores attempting to turn in
a profit, so to have that stream of income wiped out overnight, after waiting for a response from Adidas
for so long, has been met with strong criticism.Check out the 5 hottest September releases

Air Jordan 3 OG Fire Red
Making a very anticipated return at the end of summer, the Air Jordan 3 will release sporting its OG Fire Red colourway. Having previously been released in 1988, and then most recently in 2013, fans can’t wait for the return of the model, this time with its original Nike Air branding on the heel tab. Expect this to release in high quantities but with even greater demand, as one of the biggest Jordan releases of the year.

J Balvin x Air Jordan 2
One of the biggest artists in the world has taken his sneaker customization talents to the Air Jordan 2, after a long year of special Air Jordan 2 releases. An unexpected Jordan to make such a strong return, the Air Jordan 2 has been pushed by Jordan Brand all year, collaborating with A Ma Maniere, Maison Chateau Rouge, and Union, but the next collaborator to take it on is J Balvin. The model features a glow-in-the-dark sole and a similarly bright figure as J Balvin’s Air Jordan 1, with the upper coming in blue with a cloud graphic on the heel.

Nike Hyperdunk X Nikola Jokic
A very unexpected addition to this list, the 2018 model of the HyperDunk, the HyperDunk X, is being brought back, especially for one of Nike’s top basketball players Nikola Jokic. As one of his favourite basketball shoes, Nike has taken the rare decision to bring back the shoe so soon after its original run, but for any basketball fans out there, this will be a great time to pick up a quality shoe, tied to a quality athlete.

Georgetown x Air Jordan 6
A college Air Jordan is always popular, and the Georgetown x Air Jordan 6 should be no different. Originally, college Air Jordans were exclusive to the athletes at the given college, hence why since some colourways have been made available to the public, they have been snapped up by the public, who are finally capable of getting their hands on a pair. The Georgetown 6’s will come in a grey suede upper and a translucent outsole.

Sage Elsesser x Converse Fastbreak Pro
Skateboarder and man of many talents Sage Elsesser is being rewarded for his long-time partnership with converse this September, with his very own Converse Fastbreak Pro. Sporting a vintage, off-white look but with a leather toe guard and CONS traction on the outsole to provide functionality, this shoe does it all. Look out for its release at the start of September if you fancy diversifying your wardrobe with a stylish, yet less common silhouette.
