What is DAC7?

DAC7 relates to an EU directive that requires EU Member States, such as the Netherlands and Belgium to implement legislation requiring platform operators to report on the sellers that operate on the platform. Under this law, platform operators are required to inform authoritiesabout relevant activities.

More simply stated: We must provide relevant information about a seller on our platformaccording to the new DAC7 law.

As a result, must gather and provide necesarry personal information from sellers who areobligated to report .

Starting from January 1, 2023, these new reporting regulations are applicable to all digital platforms,which encompass mobile apps connecting suppliers of specific goods and services with potentialcustomers, including platforms like .

Should I fill out the DAC7 form?

You are required to fill out the DAC7 form if you meet any of the following conditions:

  • You have completed 30 or more sales within the calendar year.
  • You have earned more than €2000 from your WOOVIN sales within the calendar year.

We have contacted you to complete the DAC7 form you meet one of these conditions.
If you dothink that you not meet these conditions or are an exception from reporting, please send an email to info@woovin.

Do I need to pay taxes on my earnings?

You may not need to pay income tax, even if the local tax authority receives your DAC7 report. However, it is essential to check the tax rates in your country and be aware of your tax obligations. For more information on paying income tax in the Netherlands, please refer to the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration (Belastingdienst).

The financial information we share with the Tax Authority cannot be directly used for your tax return! Your own accounting records are crucial for that purpose.

What happens if I don’t fill out the DAC7 form?

If it is necessary for you to complete the form, we will send you several reminders to do so. If youdo not fill out the form after our reminders and fail to provide your information by the end ofthe year, we will have to partially restrict your access to WOOVIN, which means:

  • Your listings will be hidden.
  • You won’t be able to withdraw funds from your wallet.

Your account is locked.

As a seller on WOOVIN, you have agreed to the Terms and Agreements which require that sold items must be shipped within 5 days. We regret to inform you that you failed to fulfill this obligation. At WOOVIN, we want to ensure an optimal customer experience. In order to make up for the inconvenience caused, we offer your customer a next purchase discount.

That is why we have emailed you an invoice for € 20, but this has not been paid within the payment term of 30 days. That's why we had to close your account.
